Hi. Our names are Mike and Amber Doescher and we are competing
in the Foxtrot division. We are raising money for Randi
Murray’s Dance Studio, 501c3 Public Charity (Tax ID 43-2038193).
We were both born and raised in Tuolumne County. Amber’s
family owns Realty World-Wilson in Jamestown, where she grew up
and went to Jamestown Elementary. Mike’s family resides in the
Phoenix Lake area where his father was principal and
superintendant at Soulsbyville Elementary. We both went to
Sonora High School and continued our education in the Sacramento
area. Mike is a software developer for American Building Supply
out of Sacramento and Amber teaches part-time at Randi Murray’s
Dance Studio. We have a beautiful 2 ½ year old daughter,
Marissa, and one on the way – due in early December.
Amber has the privilege of teaching ballet, tap and hip-hop to
an amazing group of children every year at Randi Murray’s Dance
Studio. Randi opened her studio in 1977 out of her basement, and
Amber and her sister began dancing shortly thereafter. Amber was
three when she took my first ballet and tap class at the studio.
Dance has been a key aspect of her life and is a major part of
who she is today. Randi is committed to keep the art of dance
affordable to families in our area and in doing so; Randi
Murray’s Dance Studio became a 501c3 Public Charity in 2003.
All
monies raised will benefit the dance studio in much needed
improvements, performance opportunities and scholarship
programs.
We are honored to be participating in this event as it has
provided us the opportunity to give back to an organization that
has given so much to our own family and to hundreds of families
throughout our area. Dance is a safe haven to kids of all ages.
It teaches them discipline, kindness and self worth. Help us
keep this art alive, available and AFFORDABLE to the children we
know and love. Please vote for US by making a donation and
